Information Technology (I.T.) June 2021 Maintenance

Enterprise Applications will be performing maintenance on Friday, June 25th at 6:30PM to 12:00 a.m.

The following regulatory production change items will be included in the maintenance window:

  • Banner Admin Common 9.3.25 (Required for Financial Aid 8.40.1 & 9.3.26 Upgrade)
  • Banner Financial Aid 8.40.1, 9.3.26 (Required for Financial Aid Administrative Operations)
  • Banner General 8.13.1 (Required for Financial Aid 8.40.1 & 9.3.26 Upgrade)
  • Banner General SSB 9.8 (Required for General SSB Administrative Operations)
  • Banner Student 8.21.1 (Required for Financial Aid 8.40.1 & 9.3.26 Upgrade)
  • CLEAN_Address Data Update for Banner 9 Admin Pages (Regulatory Data Updates)

During the Upgrade, the following systems will not be available:

  • Argos (Banner Reports)
  • Automic (Scheduler for Banner jobs & data integrations)
  • Banner 9 Admin Pages/SSB (Enterprise Resource Planning System)
  • BDM (Banner Document Management)
  • Cardinal Apps (Links to Banner 9 and BDM/Xtender within the Cardinal Apps)
  • Degree Works (Academic Advising, Degree Audit Software)

  • Banner 9 Admin Pages/SSB (Enterprise Resource Planning System)
  • BDM (Banner Document Management)
  • Cardinal Apps (Links to Banner 9 and BDM/Xtender within the Cardinal Apps)

  • Banner Financial Aid 8.39.2, 9.3.24 (Dependency for Financial Aid Upgrade)
  • Banner General 8.13 (Dependency for Financial Aid Upgrade)
  • Banner Student 8.20.2, 8.20.3, 8.21, 9.3.22 (Dependency for Financial Aid Upgrade)
  • Banner Student Self-Service 9.16 (Dependency for Financial Aid Upgrade)

  • National Student Clearinghouse – SSL certificate renewal (Required for Student Certification of UIW Enrollment)ย 
  • Oracle Patches-Banner 9 Admin Pages (Critical Patch Updates- Regulatory Updates)
  • Oracle 19c Upgrade โ€“ Degree Works (Required for migration to Oracle 19c)

During the Upgrade, the following systems will not be available:

I.T. – Power Outages – Emergency Systems Shut Down

Due to the expected continuation of inclement winter weather and the ongoing power outages throughout the region, Enterprise Applications will be shutting down our systems starting at 11:00 pm this evening. We will communicate once power has been stabilized and systems are back online.
