BDM/Xtender – Service Interruption
Users have reported issues with BDM/Xtender (Banner Document Management software). Enterprise Applications is working aggressively to resolve the issue. We hope to have a resolution by 2PM CST. Please monitor UIW TechCheck for updates. Thank you.

Some UIW students and faculty have been unable to access their Blackboard discussion groups. Blackboard Tier III Service Support is working on the issue. The community will be notified when the problem has been resolved.
UPDATE: IRD January 2018 Maintenance Complete

Network Upgrade – 3 Jan 18 … COMPLETED
The network upgrade tonight is completed. All systems should be operating normally at this time.
Network Upgrade – 3 January 2018 – 8PM-12AM … users may experience brief interruptions in network connectivity
WHAT:
The UIW Infrastructure team must perform an important upgrade to our network firewall. This upgrade is being done in a manner to eliminate ANY network down time. That said, there is always a chance when performing maintenance at this level that connectivity could be impacted for short periods of time throughout the outage window.
LOCATIONS / SERVICES AFFECTED:
This upgrade will impact ALL UIW locations and may impact offsite users trying to connect to all services IF there is an interruption of service.
SERVICES NOT IMPACTED:
Off site users access to Email, OneDrive, and other Office 365 products WILL NOT be impacted during this time.
RESIDENTIAL INTERNET:
Any loss of connectivity will impact users in Residence halls.
REQUIRED USER ACTION:
Users should save any work requiring network connectivity. If an interruption of service occurs wait a few minutes and try again. If there are still issues wait until the outage complete notification is posted to try again.
